Dax009's collection of neat websites/browser extensions/software
A collection of stuff I found around the web that I think are useful, cool, or "neat".FYI: I don't own or take credit for any of these websites/extensions/etc and am not responsible if they lead to anything illegal, inaccurate, copyright infringing, or anything like that. I just find them helpful. If you own something here and would like it to be removed, or if something here leads to an unsafe resource please email me.
I visit this like, semi-daily to download stuff from websites. Works for most things you'd need and doesn't have weird ads.
Very useful when building a PC, or if you're like me, just really bored. Checks compatibility with parts when making a list, compiles many retailers, and lots more.
Basically a repository of summaries of Terms of Service agreements for various websites. Gives you some insight into the stuff you agree to when signing up for stuff.
A collection of end-of-life dates for various products, services, operating systems, software, etc.
You can upload stuff here. Good for sharing stuff on Discord. 200MB limit.
Good for embedding Twitter links into Discord. Works better than the original Twitter embed. (I used to recommend fxtwitter here, but apparently the owner isn't a great person, so switched it to vxtwitter)
Transfer files across the network. Useful for transferring between PC and phone. FYI: the site doesn't have a great track record for always being up so be aware.
It's basically just a typing test. Title of the website says it all. Fun fact: I got 160 WPM on a school Chromebook on there and I haven't been able to beat that.
Browser extension that basically turns most websites dark. I've been using it for a while and works great with most sites!
Basically the best tracker/ad/garbage blocker browser extension. Not much else to say.
It's a pretty solid Discord client mod that has a ton of helpful plugins and has the added benefit of not killing performance. Does break Discord ToS, so treat lightly when using!
Really cool Windows utilities for nerds basically. I personally use PowerToys Awake, Color Picker, FancyZones, File Locksmith and Text Extractor.
Video game archival service. Shush.
Really good if you need to activate various Microsoft products for educational showcases or demonstration only and nothing else at all trust me.
Good collection of OS ISOs with a fairly simple interface.
Controllable Undertale, Deltarune, or Undertale Yellow characters on your desktop. Hell yeah.
